Fitznells Manor, Grade II listed manor house in Ewell, England.
Fitznells Manor is a timber-framed manor house with three prominent gables on its west side and a large single-story kitchen section on the north elevation. The structure combines different building periods and shows centuries of craftsmanship across its walls.
The manor was originally owned by the Fitz-Neil family until around 1386, then received its distinctive solar wing in the early 1500s under Sir John Iwardeby. A major renovation in 1988 modernized the structure while keeping historical elements intact.
The building shows how it shifted from a family home to a music school after the war. You can see rooms that now serve different purposes than they were designed for originally.
The building now houses a medical practice with modern facilities and is not regularly open to visitors. You can see the architecture from outside and photograph the facade details from the street.
It is the only remaining manor house left in the entire Epsom and Ewell borough. This rare survival makes it an important local record of how people lived during medieval and Renaissance times.
