Guy's Tower, Brutalist skyscraper at Guy's Hospital, London Borough of Southwark, United Kingdom.
The 34-story Guy's Tower rises 143 meters above the Thames riverside, featuring two separate towers connected by bridges at each floor level.
Completed in 1974 by Watkins Grey Architects, the tower represented the highest hospital structure worldwide until the construction of Houston's O'Quinn Medical Tower in 1991.
The building incorporates constructivist principles with its geometric forms, including a cantilevered lecture theater positioned at the summit of the structure.
The tower houses medical research facilities and clinical departments across its 1,200-square-meter floor plates, with separate circulation paths for efficient movement.
The 2014 renovation introduced an aluminum geometric facade resembling folded origami, raising the total height to 148.65 meters with a rooftop art installation.
