Highgrove House, Country house in Eastcote, London Borough of Hillingdon, England

Highgrove House features red brick construction with an L-shaped layout, incorporating architectural elements from Queen Anne and Early Georgian periods.

Built in 1750 by Reverend John Lidgould, the original structure burned down in 1879 and was rebuilt in 1881 by architect Edward Schroeder Prior.

The residence received Grade II listed status in 1975, recognizing its architectural merit and contribution to the local built heritage.

The property served as a residential hostel for homeless families from the 1960s until 2007, managed by the London Borough of Hillingdon Council.

Jenny Churchill, mother of Winston Churchill, maintained connections to the house where her son spent his honeymoon during the Warrender family ownership.
