The church, designed by architect Henry Isaac Stevens, opened its doors in 1842 and received consecration from the Lord Bishop of Lincoln on October 6th.
The north wall displays a memorial dedicated to Captain Albert Ball of the Royal Flying Corps, who received the Victoria Cross for his military service.
The church office maintains regular operations on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing assistance and information to visitors.
The church houses a twelfth-century font originally constructed for Lenton Priory, donated by Severus William Lynam Stretton during the church's establishment.
