The Holy Trinity Church stands next to Millom Castle, featuring a combination of Norman and English Gothic architectural elements throughout its stone structure.
Founded in 1150, the church underwent significant modifications in 1930, including the widening of the chancel by architects Hicks and Charlewood of Newcastle.
The church contains numerous monuments dedicated to the Huddlestone family, with the oldest memorial marking Sir John Huddlestone's death in 1484.
The church functions as an active Anglican parish within the Diocese of Carlisle, offering regular religious services and community gatherings.
A cross-shaft fragment from the 10th or 11th century remains incorporated into the northeast corner of the chancel since the 1930 renovations.
