The football ground, established in 1895, served as the primary venue for Inverness Thistle F.C. until its demolition in 1994 following a club merger.
The stadium represented a central gathering point for football supporters in the Highland community, hosting numerous local matches throughout its existence.
The stadium site, located at coordinates 57°28′33″N 4°12′48″W, has been transformed into a care home facility following its closure in 1994.
Before its demolition, Kingsmills Park maintained a designated seating section for 600 people, while the remaining capacity consisted of standing areas.
