Established in 1925, the museum has evolved from a local gallery into a comprehensive cultural institution that preserves the heritage of the Fife region.
The ground floor exhibition Moments in Time presents 24 important events in Kirkcaldy's history through artifacts, photographs, films, and audio recordings.
The museum welcomes visitors Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 17:00, with extended hours on Thursdays until 19:00, and weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Four significant paintings by contemporary Scottish artists John Bellany, Ken Currie, Callum Innes, and Alison Watt form part of the permanent collection until 2026.
