The New Wine Church occupies a former cinema complex near the Woolwich Ferry, featuring architectural elements from the Art Deco period of the 1930s.
Originally opened as the Odeon Theatre in 1937, the building transformed into the Coronet Cinema in 1983 before becoming New Wine Church in 2001.
The church maintains international connections through its affiliate New Wine Covenant Partners, supporting projects in Australia, Netherlands, India, Kenya, and Zambia.
The building serves multiple functions beyond religious services, accommodating weddings, concerts, conferences, exercise classes, and business meetings throughout the week.
The church developed a housing project for individuals affected by leprosy in Chennai, India, and established water supply systems for ten villages in Zambia.
