Our Lady Star of the Sea and St Winefride, Roman Catholic church in Amlwch, Wales.
The church structure resembles an upturned boat with six concrete parabolic arch ribs along the exterior and porthole windows throughout the building.
Construction began in 1932 and Italian engineer Giuseppe Rinvolucri completed this Grade II listed building, which opened for worship in 1937.
The church combines maritime elements with religious architecture, featuring star-shaped windows surrounded by blue glass mosaic and a carved crucifix from a former convent.
Following extensive restoration work completed in 2011, the church now welcomes visitors and maintains regular mass schedules on Bull Bay Road.
The reinforced concrete structure incorporates three narrow glazed panels stretching along the ribs, creating distinctive light patterns inside the building.
