Post Office Road, Rugby league stadium in Featherstone, England
Post Office Road is a rugby league ground in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, with a covered main stand on the west side that holds seating, hospitality areas, and changing rooms. The rest of the ground is made up of additional stands and terraced sections arranged around the pitch.
The ground was established in 1904 and has been the home of Featherstone Rovers ever since. A record crowd gathered here in 1957 for a single match, a figure that has not been matched since and remains part of local memory.
Post Office Road is home to Featherstone Rovers, a club closely tied to the town's mining heritage. On match days, some local residents watch the game from the rooftops of houses next to the South Stand, treating the event as a neighborhood occasion.
The ground is within easy walking distance of Featherstone train station and nearby bus stops. Free parking is available on site, making it straightforward to arrive by either public transport or car.
In 2011, supporters bought stands from Scarborough FC's former McCain Stadium and had them installed at Post Office Road to replace older terracing. Those stands had traveled a long way before finding a second life at a ground in a completely different part of England.
