Radbroke Hall, Grade II listed country house in Peover Superior, England.
Radbroke Hall is a French chateau-style country house built from Portland stone that occupies approximately 20 acres of grounds near Peover Superior. The interior features a white marble staircase and an oval dining room as its most distinguished spaces.
Construction took place between 1914 and 1917 for Manchester businessman Claude Hardy under architect Percy Worthington's direction. The building changed use in 1972 when it became the Barclays Technology Centre, marking its transition from private residence to corporate facility.
The grounds feature extensive English gardens where roses and rhododendrons flourish among the landscaping. The beech-lined driveway creates a formal approach to the building that reflects the taste of its original inhabitants.
The building is not open to the public as it operates as a Barclays corporate facility and office complex. Visitors to the area can view the exterior architecture and garden grounds from outside the property.
The name comes from the Red Brook, a stream flowing through the grounds that connects the house to its natural landscape. This geographic tie has been preserved in the property's name over the decades.
