RAF Haverfordwest, Former Royal Air Force station in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

RAF Haverfordwest was an airfield equipped with three runways and thirty-two dispersal hard stands, situated roughly 2 miles north of Haverfordwest town and about 11 miles south of Fishguard. The installation provided space for aircraft operations and training activities using the latest airport infrastructure of that era.

Construction started in March 1941 between the villages of Rudbaxton and Crundale, with operations beginning on November 10, 1942 while work was still ongoing. After the war, the facility was converted to Haverfordwest Airport in 1952 and has served civilian aviation since then.

During the Second World War, this location served as a crucial training hub where aircrews learned their skills and prepared for operations. The site remains connected to aviation history in the local community's memory.

The site is now accessible as Haverfordwest Airport and offers a flying school, café, and terminal facilities for visitors and local aviation enthusiasts. Those interested in exploring the history can visit the remaining structures from the RAF period, though it is wise to check beforehand which areas are open to the public.

A standalone power generator had to be installed because operating the airfield strained Haverfordwest's power supply and caused blackouts in town. This solution allowed the airfield to operate independently from the local power grid.
