Ruchill Church Hall, Art Nouveau church hall in Maryhill Road, Glasgow, Scotland
The Ruchill Church Hall features stained glass windows, flower patterns in doors, and a tower house detail on the north-east corner of Shakespeare Street.
Charles Rennie Mackintosh completed this mission building for the Free Church of Scotland in 1899, during a period of church expansion in Glasgow.
The building maintains its function as a community space with two halls, committee rooms, and a tea room serving the local congregation.
Located at 15-17 Shakespeare Street, the category A listed building opens daily and provides community facilities along with refreshments in the main hall.
The upper floor contains two rooms separated by a sliding partition, with exposed roof structure and roof lights illuminating both spaces.
