Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, Art museum and local history center in Rugby, England
The Rugby Art Gallery and Museum occupies a modern building in central Rugby, sharing its space with the town library and visitor center.
The institution opened in 2000 on the former library site, establishing itself as the primary cultural facility for preserving Rugby's heritage and art collections.
The Rugby Collection features over 170 British artworks from the 20th century, including pieces by L.S. Lowry, Stanley Spencer, and Paula Rego.
Visitors can access three gallery spaces that display rotating exhibitions of contemporary art, archaeological findings, and selections from the permanent collection.
The museum houses the Tripontium Collection, containing Roman artifacts excavated from an ancient settlement located five miles from Rugby's center.
