Ropewalk Barton upon Humber

The Ropewalk is a former rope factory building now operating as an arts center with multiple gallery spaces, exhibition areas, and a sculpture garden. The long Grade II listed structure also houses a museum displaying the heritage and history of the local area.

This rope factory was founded in 1767 by the Hall family and supplied cordage to whaling and fishing fleets in the nearby port. The facility played an important role in the area's maritime economy for many years.
