Skoulding's Mill, Tower mill in Kelsale, Suffolk, England.

Skoulding's Mill is a tower mill in Kelsale cum Carlton, Suffolk, standing seven stories tall and rising approximately 55 feet. The structure has a diameter of about 23 feet with remarkably thick base walls measuring roughly 30 inches, tapering as they rise toward the top.

The mill was built in 1856 by John Whitmore from Wickham Market and initially relied on wind power to grind grain. In 1905, steam-powered roller mills were installed to modernize operations.

The mill represents the agricultural heritage of Suffolk, where numerous wind-powered mills processed grain for local communities throughout the nineteenth century.

The building now serves as residential accommodation and is not open to visitors for internal access. Viewing from the outside provides a clear look at its distinctive form and exterior details.

The lower half of the structure is coated in dark tar while the upper five stories are painted white, creating a striking two-tone appearance. This distinctive color scheme sets it apart from most other mills in the region.
