St Peter and St Paul's Church, Mottistone, Medieval parish church in Mottistone, Isle of Wight, England.

St. Peter and St. Paul's Church in Mottistone is a stone building with a tile roof and shingled spire, composed of elements from different periods. The structure contains a nave with aisles, a chancel, a north chapel, and a south porch with a west tower.

The church was founded in 1150 by Brian de Insula, lord of Mottistone Manor. Major transformations occurred during the fifteenth century and shaped the building as we see it today.

The Seeley Chapel displays a parclose screen commissioned in 1948 by John Seely to honor his father, General J.E.B. Seely. This space reflects how families marked important moments through gifts to their local church.

The building underwent improvements in 2014 to enhance accessibility for visitors with disabilities throughout the interior. These modifications make it easier to explore all areas of the church during your visit.

The chancel roof contains timber from the ship Cedrene, which wrecked near the coast just days after its launch in 1862. This salvaged wood links a maritime disaster with the fabric of the church itself.
