The Water Tower, Coleshill, Water tower in Coleshill, United Kingdom

The water tower stands 30 meters high with a 5.4-meter internal diameter, positioned on a hilltop overlooking the Buckinghamshire countryside and M40 motorway.

German prisoners of war constructed this engineering structure during World War I to establish a gravity-fed water system for the expanding town of Amersham.

The transformation of this industrial structure into residential space in the late 1990s demonstrated the intersection of preservation and modern living requirements.

From the summit of this converted residence, visitors can observe central London, Canary Wharf, and Guildford Cathedral during clear weather conditions.

The tower's construction involved a small railway system that transported materials across the main road, with excess materials deposited in a nearby abandoned kiln.
