The London Bridge Experience

The London Bridge Experience is an interactive attraction housed in vaults beneath the southern abutment of London Bridge, where theatrical performances and exhibits bring history to life. The venue extends through underground chambers with different themed areas that present various periods of the city's past.

The attraction opened in 2008 within medieval vaults that have existed beneath the bridge for centuries. During construction, workers uncovered remains and artifacts from different historical periods, including discoveries that revealed the site's long occupation across various eras.

Actors guide visitors through recreated scenes from London's past, bringing Romans, Vikings, and medieval figures to life through performances. You experience how different people lived across the centuries in these underground spaces.

The underground chambers can be cool, so bring appropriate clothing and follow staff directions to navigate safely through the passages. Audio guides are available in multiple languages to help you learn more about the history.

One section of the attraction was built within a former plague pit and became known as the most intense scare experience at the venue. This unusual use of a historical site creates an unforgettable experience for visitors exploring these underground spaces.
