The London Studios, Television studio and office building in Waterloo, England
The London Studios is an office building on Upper Ground in Waterloo that formerly housed television production spaces. The structure rises 24 floors and stands directly on the southern bank of the Thames opposite the City of London.
The building opened in 1972 and served as headquarters for London Weekend Television and later other British broadcasters until 2018. After the studios closed, Mitsubishi Estate London purchased the property in 2019 for £145.6 million.
The studios produced many television programs including Good Morning Britain and The Graham Norton Show until its closure in 2018.
The building sits close to Waterloo, Southwark and Blackfriars stations, making it reachable from different directions. Around 105 parking spaces are available on site, mostly intended for tenants and visitors.
The final television broadcasts from the building went out in 2018, including popular formats such as Good Morning Britain and The Graham Norton Show. Today the former studio complex functions solely as commercial office space with no production activity.
