Tredegar House, Country house in Coedkernew, Wales.
The red brick mansion features symmetrical architecture with nine bays, classical styling, and a central ornate door surround on the northeast elevation.
The Morgan family commissioned the reconstruction of Tredegar House between 1664 and 1672, incorporating elements from their previous medieval residence.
The interior contains the New Hall with full-height oak panels from the 17th century and the Brown Room with intricate carved details.
The National Trust maintains the house and its 90-acre grounds, which include walking paths and gardens accessible from the M4 motorway.
A horse named Sir Briggs, which survived the Charge of the Light Brigade with Godfrey Morgan, lived at Tredegar House until its death.
