Westburn Park, Urban park in Aberdeen, Scotland
The 10-hectare green space contains two ponds, the Gilcomston Burn stream, grassy areas, and numerous trees throughout the grounds.
Aberdeen City Council established Westburn Park in 1901, featuring the Victorian A-listed Westburn House designed by Archibald Simpson in 1839.
The park grounds include championship bowling greens that hosted the British Isles Bowls Championships and World Singles Champion Tournament in 2008.
Visitors can access tennis facilities with four indoor courts, four outdoor all-weather courts, and four grass courts for sports activities.
Children learn road safety at the dedicated cycling proficiency track, complete with miniature streets and traffic signs for educational purposes.
