Woodlands Family Theme Park, Family amusement park in South Devon, England
Woodlands is a 90-acre amusement park with over 16 rides, water attractions, and indoor play zones designed for different age groups. The space is divided into themed sections that offer entertainment options throughout the grounds.
The park started in 1989 when the Bendall family converted their dairy farm into a leisure destination. What began as a small operation has grown significantly over the years into a major visitor attraction.
The park features a farm zoo and falconry center where visitors can observe and learn about animals up close. These spaces help children understand animal care and environmental responsibility.
The park has an adjacent family campsite with a general store and free park entry during your stay. Staying on-site lets visitors take their time exploring the attractions over multiple days.
The grounds include three woodland lakes and a wildlife sanctuary woven into the entertainment space. These natural features blend recreation with nature, giving visitors both thrills and outdoor surroundings.
