Woolbridge Manor House

Woolbridge Manor House is an early 17th-century country house in East Stoke featuring stone mullioned windows and brick walls trimmed with stone quoins. The building displays tiled roofs with stone slate covering the lower sections, creating a layered appearance typical of its period.

The manor was built during the early 17th century, with a date stone marking 1635 documenting its construction phase. Substantial alterations around 1660 reshaped the structure and created much of what stands today.

The name comes from the Woolbridge stream that runs nearby and shaped the area's character. Visitors can observe how the rooms were arranged around this working landscape connection.
