Monadh Mòr

Monadh Mòr is a mountain in the Eastern Highlands rising to approximately 1100 meters with a rounded form and plateau-like structure. Its summit connects with neighboring peaks across a broad highland terrain.

The mountain became part of Cairngorms National Park in 2003, marking an important milestone for protecting Scotland's mountain landscapes. This designation strengthened conservation efforts for the region's ecosystems and natural environment.

The Gaelic name describes a geographical feature using traditional Scottish naming practices common throughout the Highlands. Such names help visitors understand the landscape and its character.
