Farley Castle, Grade II listed country house in Swallowfield, England

Farley Castle is a red brick house in Gothic Revival style located in Swallowfield. The two-storey building features distinctive battlements and round turrets at its corners that give it a castle-like character.

The building was commissioned around 1810 as a residence for the landowner's son who managed the surrounding estate. It was later subdivided and renovated in 1992 into separate residential units.

The building served as an educational facility for students with special needs during the second half of the 20th century. This period shaped how the structure was used and perceived by the local community.

The building is now divided into private residential units, so visits are limited to viewing it from the outside. It sits easily accessible from Swallowfield village and is surrounded by countryside roads.

The property was originally known as Ragg Castle before taking its current name. This earlier identity is often overlooked when discussing the building's history.
