Flannan Isles Lighthouse, Lighthouse in Scotland
The Flannan Isles Lighthouse is a lighthouse near the highest point on Eilean Mòr, one of the Flannan Isles in the Outer Hebrides off the west coast of mainland Scotland.
It was built in 1899 by David Alan Stevenson.
The lighthouse has been automated since 1971 and is now monitored and controlled from Edinburgh.
The lighthouse is accessible only by helicopter or boat.
It's known for the mysterious disappearance of its keepers in 1900.
