Adrenalin Quarry, Adventure park in Menheniot, United Kingdom
Adrenalin Quarry is an adventure park built in a former quarry with zip lines, a giant swing, a go-kart track, and an inflatable water park on the lake. Different activities spread across the site appeal to various age groups and skill levels.
The site operated as Clicker Tor Quarry from 1932 to 1969 and later became Clicker Trikes in 1986 before changing to its current name in 2009. This transformation reflects how abandoned industrial land can be repurposed for recreation.
The site exemplifies the British approach to outdoor recreation, converting industrial heritage into modern recreational spaces while maintaining environmental consciousness.
The park operates mainly on weekends when all activities are available and facilities run at full capacity. Children from age 6 can join in, though taller and more challenging activities have their own height or skill requirements.
Visitors can experience the UK's highest swing, reaching 60 meters above water, and zoom across a 490-meter dual-wire zip line at speeds up to 40 mph.
