St Wilfrid's Church, Scrooby, Medieval parish church in Scrooby, England
St Wilfrid's Church features an octagonal spire, a west window from the 15th century, and a south aisle added in the early 16th century.
The church underwent substantial restoration work in 1864, including improvements to the roof, pews, font, pulpit, and east window after years of deterioration.
William Brewster, a prominent Pilgrim Father and ruling elder, attended services at this church before departing for Holland in 1608 and later America.
The church holds services on the first and third Sundays of each month, with an hour-long prayer meeting occurring on the first Sunday.
The churchyard contains a limestone wall adjoining a village pinfold, where stray animals were kept until their owners paid fines for release.
