St David's Church, Gothic Revival church in Dalkeith, Scotland.
St David's Church features pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and flying buttresses, reflecting traditional medieval architectural elements throughout its exterior and interior design.
Constructed between 1853 and 1854, the church was commissioned by Cecil Chetwynd Kerr, Marchioness of Lothian, following her conversion to Catholicism in 1851.
The interior houses a collection of stained glass windows and a mural titled Coronation of the Virgin created by Miss Gibsone above the chancel arch.
The church holds regular services on Saturdays at 6:00 PM and Sundays at 11:00 AM, with additional weekday masses on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 9:00 AM.
The Marchioness of Lothian, who funded the church's construction, rests beneath the altar following her death during a religious visit to Rome in 1877.
