The Washington, Victorian pub in Belsize Park, England
The Washington features stucco windows resembling ashlar stone, original Victorian woodwork, and painted mirrors depicting flora and fauna throughout its interior spaces.
Built in 1865 by developer Daniel Tidey, this Grade II listed building maintains its entrance floor mosaic that reads Washington Hotel and Billiards.
The establishment received recognition on CAMRA's National Inventory of historic pub interiors for preserving its etched glass and decorative wall tiling.
Located at 50 Englands Lane, the pub opens from noon until 11:00 PM on weekdays, midnight on weekends, and 10:30 PM on Sundays.
A concealed door designed as a bookcase leads to a separate meeting room with capacity for 60 people in the lower level.
