Alscot Park, Grade I listed building in Preston on Stour, England

The Georgian country house features limestone ashlar construction with a T-shaped plan and seven bays across its two-storey frontage.

James West, Secretary to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and MP for St Albans, purchased the manors and initiated construction in 1747.

The estate spans 4,000 acres of parkland and farmland, divided by the River Stour, representing rural English architectural heritage.

The property currently functions as a mixed-use estate, offering residential properties, offices, studios, and industrial spaces for various purposes.

The estate received the Bledisloe Gold Medal from the Royal Agricultural Society in 2011 for excellence in estate management.
