Parish Church of St James, Trowbridge

The Parish Church of St James is a place of worship in Trowbridge featuring Gothic architecture, a tall stone spire rising 160 feet (49 meters), large windows, and decorative battlements. The building displays carefully worked masonry and shows typical features of late medieval construction.

The building was founded in 1125 and took its present form around 1450 following major reconstruction work. Only the original tower, spire, and chancel survived from the earlier period.
