Pengersick Castle, Grade I listed fortified manor house in Breage, England.

The castle features a medieval tower with defensive elements including loopholes and shoots designed for pouring molten lead onto potential attackers.

William Worth initiated the construction of Pengersick Castle in 1510, using funds from a Portuguese shipwreck to complete substantial improvements by 1530.

Throughout its existence, the castle grounds served as a venue for traditional Cornish wrestling tournaments, maintaining regional athletic traditions.

The castle operates under the management of Pengersick Historic & Education Trust, which arranges guided tours and educational visits by appointment.

One room within the castle contains preserved wainscot panels decorated with historical paintings accompanied by verses and proverbs from past centuries.
