St Peter Hungate, Norwich, Medieval church and art museum on Elm Hill, Norwich, England
The former church structure contains intricate flint stonework, medieval stained glass windows, and a fifteenth-century wooden roof with angel carvings.
The building underwent transformation from a parish church to an ecclesiastical art museum in 1932, following intervention by Prince Duleep Singh in the early 1900s.
The museum displays ecclesiastical artifacts, including vestments, communion plates, bells, and religious paintings from different periods of Norwich's history.
The venue opens every weekend between March and October, offering brass rubbing activities and guided tours through permanent exhibitions of medieval art.
The building houses an Italian positive organ, acquired in 1938 from a monastery in Lucca, Tuscany, registered in the National Pipe Organ Register.
