Church of St Lawrence, Medieval church in Foleshill, England

The Church of St Lawrence features a prominent tower from the 15th century and holds regular religious services in the Foleshill district of Coventry.

The initial chapel at this location was established by Lady Godiva and Leofric, Earl of Mercia, before being replaced with a sandstone structure around 1150.

The interior preserves a 12th-century font and a 16th-century iron-bound chest, representing centuries of religious practices in the community.

Located on Old Church Road in northeast Coventry, the Church of St Lawrence maintains an active schedule of worship services and community gatherings.

The church tower contains three bells made by Hugh Watts of Leicester between 1616 and 1635, with the tenor bell designed for half-muffled ringing.
