Church of St George

Church of St George is a parish church in Norwich with stone walls, high arched windows, and a bell tower that developed over multiple construction phases starting in the 1400s. The building displays these different building periods through its varied architectural sections and styles.

Construction began in 1459 with the nave and tower, followed by the chancel in 1498 and additional sections through 1513. This gradual building process over decades shows how the community expanded the church to meet its needs.
