Middleport Pottery, Victorian pottery factory in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom.
Middleport Pottery operates with traditional manufacturing processes in a restored Victorian building alongside the Trent and Mersey Canal.
The factory opened in 1889 and continues its original purpose as a working pottery facility, maintaining production methods from the industrial revolution period.
The factory houses Europe's largest collection of ceramic moulds, displaying the evolution of British pottery manufacturing techniques through multiple generations.
Visitors can access guided tours Monday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with tickets priced at £11.00 for adults and £10.00 for concessions.
The site preserves a complete Victorian pottery factory with its steam engine, bottle kiln, and original production equipment still in working condition.
