Church of St Margaret, Wolstanton

The Church of St Margaret is an Anglican place of worship in Wolstanton built upon medieval stone foundations and topped with an octagonal tower. The structure combines older masonry with later architectural additions made over the centuries.

The site existed before 1086 as the Domesday Book records a priest serving in Wolstanton at that time. The building expanded and changed through the centuries, with the current tower and interior details coming from later construction phases.

The interior displays a timber roof with distinctive joinery and a carved wooden screen separating the choir area from the nave. These crafted elements reflect the skill of different building periods within the church.
