1 Prince's Terrace, Category A listed building in Glasgow, Scotland.

1 Prince's Terrace is a two-story corner building with a north-facing main facade divided into four sections and a decorative entrance door. The roof uses slate tiles, cast iron railings run along the edges, and arched dormers punctuate the roofline.

Architect James Thomson designed this building in 1870 with Italianate style details. Local businessman James Morrice purchased the property and undertook significant interior renovations around 1900 to suit his needs.

Local starch producer James Morrice acquired the property in 1895 and initiated extensive interior renovations around 1900 to match his personal preferences.

The building is visible from the street and can be viewed from the sidewalk, allowing easy observation of its architectural details. Original materials like slate and cast iron require specialized care to maintain their condition over time.

A beveled two-story projection on the left side of the building is topped with a flat cast iron railing that gives the corner a distinctive look. This architectural feature sets it apart and makes the corner especially interesting to observe from different angles.
