Church of St Eustachius

This stone church in Tavistock is a medieval parish building featuring a distinctive tower that houses ten bells. The interior displays intricate stonework, stained glass windows, and architectural details accumulated over centuries.

The church was founded in 1193 and underwent major reconstruction in 1318 under Abbot Robert Champeaux of the local Benedictine monastery. The 19th-century renovation program transformed it into the structure we see today.
