Willow Creek Community Church

The Willow Creek Community Church campus spans across 90 acres with multiple buildings and a large auditorium that accommodates thousands of weekly attendees.

Founded in 1975 by Bill Hybels and Dave Holmbo, the congregation first gathered at Willow Creek Theater in Palatine before moving to its current South Barrington location.

The church maintains seven locations throughout Chicago, including dedicated Spanish-speaking congregations, serving diverse communities through contemporary worship services and programs.

Visitors can attend services at multiple campus locations across Chicago, with programs available for different age groups and Spanish language options.

The church established the Willow Creek Association in 1992, developing into a network that provides resources and training for religious leaders across multiple congregations.
