Fond du Lac Light, Lighthouse in Fond du Lac, United States.
The lighthouse features an octagonal design with a flagstone-covered base for the first ten feet and frame construction for the upper section.
Construction began in May 1933 during the Great Depression, with labor provided by local citizens in need of work at that time.
The lighthouse appears on the Fond du Lac City Seal and transforms during winter with a red light serving as Rudolph's nose.
Located at the entrance of Lakeside Park harbor, this 17-meter wooden tower includes an internal staircase leading to an observation deck.
The structure required no government funding as local individuals donated materials, including lumber from W.J. Nuss and architectural plans from R.A. Sutherland.
