Hawfields Presbyterian Church

Hawfields Presbyterian Church is a brick building designed in Greek Revival style, featuring symmetrical windows, tall columns, and a traditional sanctuary with classroom and meeting spaces. The complex extends across several structures on grounds that include a substantial burial ground.

The congregation began in 1755, though the present building was constructed between 1852 and 1855 as a completely new structure. This reconstruction represented a shift in the community's physical presence and adoption of the Greek Revival style that defined the era.
