The club was founded in 1965 and underwent a complete redesign in 2000 by renowned course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. This renovation substantially altered the layout and challenge of the course.
The club maintains a dining program offering Classic American, Traditional Asian, and Modern Asian Fusion dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients.
This is a private membership club, so access requires either membership or an invitation from a current member. Visitors interested in the facility should plan ahead and arrange their visit through a member contact.
In 2022, the club became the first in the Northeast to host sectional qualifiers for the U.S. Adaptive Open Championship.
