Lord's Castle, Norman-inspired residence in Waltham, Massachusetts.

The 1886 Lord's Castle features a prominent three-story circular tower with corbelling and crenellations at 211 Hammond Street in Waltham.

Construction professional Rufus Lord built this residence over ten years after purchasing the land from Oel Farnsworth in the late nineteenth century.

The architecture combines Norman castle design elements with residential features, reflecting the late 1800s building practices in Massachusetts.

The National Register of Historic Places registration ensures the preservation of this 2.5-story masonry structure for future generations.

Each stone in the circular tower demonstrates the dedication of local builder Rufus Lord, who also constructed the Company F State Armory.
