Masonic Temple Building, Masonic temple in Marshall, Michigan.

The Masonic Temple Building is a five-story structure in Marshall with dark red brick walls accented by grey stone details. The main facade features three distinct window bays, and the building measures approximately 95 feet long by 43 feet deep.

Local Masonic lodges in Marshall decided in 1913 to build their own temple after conducting a successful fundraising effort. The building then became the physical center for the fraternity in the town.

The building served as a central gathering place for multiple Masonic lodges in Marshall from 1914 until the association dissolved in 1987.

The building sits on the east side of Marshall's downtown and is easily accessible on foot. Today it houses commercial businesses, so you can view the architecture from the street and appreciate its facade.

A steel and glass canopy was added above the main entrance in 1925, creating a distinct entrance area. This modern addition contrasts with the building's classical brick and stone design.
