Uxbridge Town Hall, National Register building in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.

Uxbridge Town Hall is a red brick municipal building on South Main Street with symmetrical windows and a central entrance framed in stone. The structure houses administrative offices, meeting rooms, and public services within its original layout.

The building was designed in 1879 by architect Amos P. Cutting and required relocation of an existing burial ground before construction could begin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The building has long served as a gathering place for town meetings and local events that bring residents together. Its function shapes how the community organizes and interacts today.

The building is easily visible and accessible in downtown Uxbridge. Visitors can walk around the exterior to appreciate the architectural style and see how it sits within the town's layout.

The building's auditorium functioned as a cinema and concert hall during the 1930s, drawing crowds for entertainment. This secondary role as a cultural venue gave it importance beyond its primary function as a government building.
