Titanic Museum, Maritime museum on 76 Country Boulevard, Branson, United States
The Titanic Museum is a maritime museum on 76 Country Boulevard in Branson and displays recreations of sections from the RMS Titanic at half scale. Several exhibition rooms contain over four hundred original artifacts recovered from the wreck on the Atlantic floor.
John Joslyn founded this museum in April 2006 following his participation in an expedition to the wreck site in 1987. The dive to the ship's remains on the ocean floor inspired him to create this replica and collection.
Every guest receives a boarding pass at the entrance with the name of a real passenger and follows their journey through the exhibition. At the end you discover this person's fate and learn whether they survived the disaster.
The museum opens daily from nine in the morning until seven in the evening and offers wheelchair access. Visitors arriving by car can use the dedicated parking area located directly at the entrance.
Guests can feel the temperature of North Atlantic water at a tank kept at twenty-eight degrees Fahrenheit (minus two degrees Celsius). They also test their balance on tilted decks that recreate the final sinking angle of the ship.
