White Park

White Park is a 25-acre green space in Concord with a central pond, basketball courts, baseball fields, and walking trails winding through landscaped grounds. The park contains playgrounds, open areas, and recreational facilities spread across its varied terrain.

The land was donated to Concord in 1884 by Armenia White in memory of her husband Nathaniel White, a founder of American Express. This gift established the park as an enduring community space.

The Monkey Around Playground serves as a gathering place where families spend time together, reflecting how the community uses this space for connections across generations.

The park is accessible daily from sunrise to 10 PM for visitors to explore and enjoy the various facilities. Walking paths are open throughout the grounds, making it easy to navigate different activity areas.

The central pond freezes over into a skating rink during colder months, while a newer splash pad provides water play during summer. These seasonal features give the park different moods and activities throughout the year.
